The main goal of the department of “Agricultural Technology and Transport” is to improve the quality of educational services. The faculty of the department strives to provide educational programs that meet state standards in order to meet the educational needs of students. For this purpose, educational programs are being developed for bachelors, masters, and doctoral students, which are implemented by highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel.
The department employs graduates of the educational programs “Agricultural Technology and Technology” and “Transport, Transport Engineering and Technologies” such as Doctors of Philosophy (PhD): Kravchenko R.I., Amantaev M.A., Zolotukhin E.A., Kabdusheva A. .S., as well as senior teachers - masters of agricultural sciences: Gebert A.A., Moldabek N.K., Rakhimova D.B., Iskandyrova L.S.; teacher Ibraimov K.T.
Stages of development of the Department of Agricultural Technology and Transport:
- In 1966, on the basis of a branch of the Tselinograd Agricultural Institute, the Department of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture (MEAS) was organized.
- In 1978, by order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the USSR, the Department of MEAS was divided into two independent departments: “Tractors and agricultural machines” and “Mechanization, electrification of livestock.”
- In 1982, the department of “Tractors and Agricultural Machinery” was divided into four departments: “Tractors and Automobiles”; "Agreecultural machines. Agreecultural equipment"; “General technical disciplines”; "Mechanization, electrification of agriculture."
- In 1995, the following departments were merged: “Tractors and Automobiles”, “Agricultural Machines”, a new name was received - the department of “Machine and Tractor Park and Technical Service”.
- In 2000, the department of “Machine and Tractor Park and Technical Service” acquired the name “Machine and Tractor Park”.
- In 2004, the Department of Machinery and Tractor Park became known as the Department of Machinery and Equipment.
- Since 2009, a new name has been received - the department of “Machines, Tractors and Automobiles”.
- Since August 2023, the Department of Machines, Tractors and Automobiles has received a new name - the Department of Agricultural Technology and Transport.
